Core Description

Lead the strategic direction, governance, and operational delivery of national telecommunications network operations to ensure high-availability, agile performance, and superior customer experience across fixed, mobile, cloud, and converged infrastructure.

The role drives digital transformation, automation, AI-enabled optimisation, cyber-resilient operations, and ecosystem collaboration, ensuring the network is future-ready, scalable, and cost-efficient while meeting regulatory, security, and performance requirements.

Job Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership and Market Expansion
Lead development and execution of multi-year Mass Market growth strategies aligned to Openserve’s long-term vision.
Monitor global telco and digital technology trends to identify disruptive opportunities.
Assess new commercial models, partnerships and digital ecosystem opportunities to diversify revenue and expand product relevance.

2. Customer and Market Intelligence
Establish advanced data-driven frameworks using analytics, AI and market research to identify customer trends, churn drivers, and new demand opportunities.
Develop actionable customer segmentation models to enhance customer lifetime value and drive targeted offers.

3. Product, Channel and Portfolio Innovation
Lead ideation and commercialization of scalable mass-market connectivity solutions, value-added services and bundled digital offerings.
Define modern omnichannel strategies (digital self-service, retail, reseller, ISP partner programs, marketplace ecosystems).

4. Sales and Business Growth Execution
Drive customer acquisition, retention and growth through targeted business development plans and partner frameworks.
Ensure sales enablement, channel training, incentives and strategic planning supports high performance and sustainable revenue growth.

5. Partnerships and Ecosystem Enablement
Establish strategic partnerships with ISPs, technology providers, OEMs, retailers, fintechs and content service providers to accelerate demand stimulation.
Manage governance frameworks for commercial agreements, negotiations and partnerships.

6. Stakeholder and Governance Management
Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Marketing, Product, Legal, Network Engineering and Customer Experience to ensure coherent market execution.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, pricing governance and ethical business standards.

8 Years relevant experience, of which at least 3 years on senior management level

Additional Information

Certification, qualifications and experience:
Strategy Execution/ Digital Business/ GTM Certifications will be advantageous.
Qualification in business, Telecommunications, Commerce, Marketing or related field.
Master’s degree such as MBA or Strategic Leadership qualification will be preferred.
Minimum 8-10 years relevant experience in telecommunications, digital business, technology, or commercial strategy.
Minimum 3 years senior leadership experience managing teams, strategic programmes and revenue growth initiatives.
Proven experience in mass-market strategy, ecosystem partnerships, channel development, commercial execution and customer growth.

Special Requirements:
Ability to travel nationally.
Flexibility to work extended/ irregular hours during market launches or critical initiatives.
