Core Description

Responsible for the Profiling, Validation, Integration, Implementation, Engineering, Project Management and Coordination of internal and external peering inter-network initiatives. Also responsible for Guidelines and Procedural Documentation, Financial and Business Case Project Management, IP Network Integration Support and Management tools.

Job Responsibilities

- Maintain Trunk Routes, IP NET and Trunk Databases
- Engineer high level capital projects, ATM, IP NET, Tie NET, WIFI, TC NET, MC NET, Metro Ethernet, Access Technologies, Core Technologies, Local and International Projects - submit executable file to Build and project manage the project
- Build and Project Manage project
- Process correspondence/ queries
- Compile procedures/ instructions for IP NET, Tie NET, WIFI, TC NET, MC NET, Metro Ethernet, Access Technologies, Core Technologies, Local and International Projects
- Compile resource plan for Network upgrade project, assign resources and evaluate costs
- Develop and distribute regression/ implementation Network plan, update and amendments
- Compile report on implemented projects

- Evaluate/ introduce/ integrate new Technology/ service
- Perform functional technical conformance, define test procedure, parameters and implement
- Conduct laboratory and pilot tests on new Technologies and Services
- Manage Network optimising by monitoring Routes/ Nodes/ Devices performance
- Develop Database for all implemented Technologies/Projects
- Provide Network/ Customer Specific Solutions, monitor performance and liaise with internal and external customers via CAM/ BSD for clarification
- Re engineer solutions where applicable
