Core Description

Responsible for BTS planning, optimisation, dimensioning, integration and configuration. Management of vendor and sub-contractors responsible for RAN network coverage, quality, configuration and customer care. Generation of short, medium and long term network rollout planning.

Job Responsibilities

•  Team lead for regional planning and optimization team
• Responsible to do team resource planning and scheduling
• Ensure Planning and Optimization of GSM, UMTS and LTE networks
• Plan and implement coverage and capacity solutions as per requirement
• Conduct Site visits for planning and optimization verification
• Track and follow up on site build
• Manage and plan using the planning tool
• Obtain approval and verification of site plans and acceptance documentation
• Provide, validate and approve solutions for customer care incidents
• Management of managed services vendor performance
• Reporting to management on network and rollout status
• Lead team on special projects to achieve required targets as set out by management
• Provide team leadership
• Motivate, lead, guide and mentor staff
• Develop and train staff
• Apply performance measures and incentives in a fair and equitable manner
• Implement safety, health and environment management and ensure a conducive working environment
