Core Description
Responsible to effectively provide Commercial support within CSB through management and implementation of the financial modelling, analysis and pricing to deliver business cases; costing (product, sales channels, network); financial models; financial analysis; forecasting; profitability (product, deals, sales channel, network, etc.); pricing governance; pricing strategy; statistical models; tariff filing and valuations. Dealer commercial management support approvals of sales channel (dealer) agreements; commercial letters for dealer; commission structures; dealer financial performance analysis; drafting of dealer agreements. The job would also entail effectively and efficiently coordinating resources and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment across the whole team and organisation.
Job Responsibilities
1. Commercial Finance Management
Develop complex models for Business cases; Financial analysis; Forecasting; Valuations; Mergers and acquisitions; Profitability of products, sales channels, network; Commission structures; Pricing
Analyse financial information to provide insights to internal stakeholders including such as CSB EXCO
Monitor the press closely and keep a track of market trends, opportunities, risks and new opportunities
Perform business case evaluations and review previous investment business case decisions
Design and implement analysis tools, policies and procedures
Design and implement pricing, product, sales channel and customer profitability tools
Conduct overall product, sales channel and network margin analysis
Provide guidance on levels of margins for products, sales channel and networks
Assist in the identification of profitable customer segments, products, network elements and sales channels that need to be targeted for growth
Review analyst reports monthly and identify trends and information requirements from analysts and propose changes to interim/ annual presentations accordingly
Provide timely CSB reports and information to EXCO, Group EXCO, Board, ARC to influence operational/strategic decisions
Support Investor Relations in preparation of Annual Report
Partner with all departments to understand their business priorities and facilitate the delivery of business insights to guide business decisions
Support and perform benefits tracking of strategic and operational initiatives by standardizing the measurement and reporting of performance KPIS
Implement measures to monitor and track dealer agreements
Support the sales team to ensure that dealer agreements are signed and valid
Control cost and expenses against the operational budget (OPEX)
Support company performance targets
Ensure legislatory compliance and corporate governance
