Core Description

Responsible to develop and implement Indirect Channel Business plan with the focus on, national retail chains, wholesalers/ informal and airtime channels. Manage performance of Indirect Channels in terms of acquisitions and revenue targets, as well as the performance of own teams. Manage ongoing changes in channel operations and control financials in terms of budget income and expenses.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive execution excellence within the channel portfolio (formal, informal and airtime).
  • Develop and implement the indirect sales channel Business Plan.
  • Ensure effective cross-functional delivery of all mobile indirect sales channel functions interfacing with other executives.
  • Take full responsibility for Indirect sales channel acquisitions and revenue targets.
  • Analyse internal and external environment.
  • Build Strategic Relationships with Relevant Stakeholders by developing a stakeholder strategy.
  • Partner with relevant internal & external stakeholders to improve service delivery.
  • Build and manage strategic customer partnerships.
  • Obtain required information from key role players.
  • Drive implementation of solutions.
  • Monitor and measure success.
  • Manage compliance with channel partner agreements.
  • Communicate strategy to relevant role-players.
  • Apply industry Best Practices.
  • Provide Team Leadership by motivating, leading, guiding and mentoring staff.
  • Set own team performance targets.
  • Apply performance measures and incentives in a fair and equitable manner.
  • Establish an enabling work environment and culture for optimum staff performance.
