Trizelle works in the Chief Marketing Officer’s division, specialising in Retail Marketing
The span of the work she does is wide, stretching from above-the-line (ATL) advertising right through to below-the-line (BTL) advertising. ATL advertising includes mass-type advertising platforms such as radio and television, and BTL advertising includes instore-type marketing elements such as the Group Broadsheet.
She has specialised skills in retail advertising, marketing and visual merchandising, and also considers herself a specialist in store revamps from a marketing, design and advertising support perspective.
Early in 2010, Trizelle was the first marketing person employed for 8ta. In 2013, she was the acting senior manager for Channel Trade Marketing, a role she held for more than 12 months.
Nicholene Van Rensburg
I am a customer-facing manager within the Data and Advanced Services (DAS) section. I manage a team of operational managers, specialists and technicians who service corporate and business customers.
My team performs the installation of fixed line data products such as fibre and PBXs. I currently fall under the Chief Technical Officer structure within Network Field Operations (NFO).
I am very passionate about education and skills transfer! I am currently completing my Masters of Science (MSc) degree, which I feel will aid me in furthering my career. I feel that I am able to share my expertise in the technical realm, as well as my people management skills. I am also able to share insights into the NFO processes and procedures.
I am passionate about my work and my family. Work-life balance is highly important because without the support and compassion of those you love and care for, you will not be successful.
I am proud to be able to contribute to the Telkom journey, I feel that Telkom is ideally placed to allow people to instantly connect to one another across the world – at the speed of light! The Telkom fibre network is an incredible tool which can revolutionise the manner in which we communicate.
Pinkie Kola
Pinkie completed a national diploma and BTech degree in electrical engineering. She then studied a two-year Business Management course at Wits University. Pinkie is thankful to Telkom as all her studies were completed with the aid of Telkom bursaries
Pinkie is responsible for planning core engineering network infrastructure, including investigating network utilisation and updating records for existing infrastructure within the Network Engineering environment. She is also the single point of contact (SPOC) for Legacy SDH replacements, ensuring that the process of migrating existing services from legacy networks to the NGN runs effectively and seamlessly.
She comes from a poorer background where money was not freely available. However she made a choice to succeed and worked hard in accomplishing that. She is a very approachable person and enjoys helping others to develop their careers and decide what to study. Pinkie is passionate about education and community development as she understands the challenges that children and the youth face.
